The home of fine Indian cuisine, in the heart of Holsworthy, Devon. Our restaurant has been serving the finest Indian cuisine for many years and combines an intriguing, relaxed atmosphere with excellent food, using only the freshest spices and ingredients available. Our Head Chef, Mr. Haribur Chowdhuri, is an authentic Bengali chef and included in the menu are his "Chef's Specialities".

Why not have a drink from our fully-stocked bar or sample a glass of one of our many fine wines? If you wish, you can round off your meal with a freshly-brewed coffee or, perhaps, a liqueur. We excel in the preparation of our food and our hygiene is second to none. We hold an NLC licence to this effect.

One of our attractions is our 'buffet-style' service which is available from Sunday - Thursday, for 8 persons or more. Prices start at £14.00 or £16.00 per head. Whether you choose the buffet or our 'a la carte' menu, you will be assured of an excellent night out, enjoying an equisite dining experience. We are open every lunch time* from 11.45am - 1.30pm and evening from 5.30pm - 10.30pm

Home Delivery:

We offer a FREE Home Delivery service which is available within a 3 mile radius. (This service is subject to a minimum order of £20.00.)

We make a small charge for distances over 3 miles.

Home Deliveries are available from 6.00pm - 9.30pm

We offer a 15% Discount for cash payments and a 10% Discount on card payments (excluding Home Deliveries).

"I visit The Bay Of Bengal twice a week, the home made nan bread is cooked fresh to order in a Naan Kiln oven and is a great accompaniment to the succulent Lamb Vindaloo,which is my favourite choice. I can have it as hot as i like , as Head Chef Tito can vary the dishes to suit your personal taste and i am always asked for my personal preference.The Bay of Bengal in Holsworthy is the best Indian Restaurant for miles!
